About Hillel at Eckerd College
There's a legend which says the Pirate, Jose Gaspar buried treasure on the sandy shores of Tampa Bay. Well, if you come to Eckerd College, you will have found that hidden treasure. Aside from the outstanding academics and our beautiful waterfront campus, Eckerd College provides a safe, nurturing, and full life for our Jewish students. Whether it's the friendly atmosphere of an Eckerd Shabbat dinner or a lively discussion during Torah on Tap, maybe it's a trip to Israel on Birthright or a trip to the Keys with Scubi Jew, whether it's a day at Universal in Orlando or Havdalah on the Beach, you'll find a warm and welcoming Jewish community at Eckerd College.
